Over the past year, Self-Initiated Living Option, Inc. (SILO) has helped thousands of individuals with disabilities throughout Long Island.
This summer marks the 36th Anniversary of the signing of the American Disabilities Act (ADA), which ensures the protection of the civil rights of people with disabilities.
Please join SILO as we celebrate this milestone with local social service agencies, educators, advocates, families, and friends. This free event will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 11:00am-2:30pm at
3253 Route 112, next to bldg. 10, in Medford, NY 11763.

Event Details
Who: All are welcome to join us as we celebrate this milestone with local social service agencies, educators, advocates, families, and friends.
What: Family-friendly, outdoor celebration in our parking lot area, Free Boxed Lunch & Dessert, Petting Zoo, Music, Free photo IDs, Promotional Tables, Local Officials and other Guest Speakers, Games & Prizes, Basket Raffles, Face Painting and More!
Where: 3253 Route 112, Medford, NY 11763 (Parking Lot of Bldg. 10)
When: Friday, July 24, 2026, from 11:00am-2:30pm, Rain or Shine
Cost: This free event, but there will be raffles if you want to bring some CASH (only) to participate.
