Islip School District Students Interning at SILO!

This summer, SILO welcomed four students from the Islip School District as a part of a hands-on internship program designed to prepare them for the workforce.

During their time here, the students are gaining valuable real-world experience by working alongside staff in several departments, including Information Technology (IT), housekeeping, NY Connects, and other administrative areas.

By learning new skills, building confidence, and exploring different career paths, the interns have made, and continue to make, meaningful contributions while taking important steps toward their future employment goals.
