FREE Advice and Counsel Clinic for Suffolk County Residents:

Legal Services of Long Island is offering a free legal clinic this fall for income-eligible residents of Suffolk County. The clinic will be held at our Islandia office and will focus on the 17A Guardianship process.

 

What is a 17A Guardianship?

A 17A Guardianship is a legal process through which the Surrogate’s Court appoints a guardian to support and protect the interests of an adult with intellectual or developmental disabilities who is deemed in need of assistance.
